Well, since this is the very first issue of our newspaper I thought I’d give a little introduction. My name is Devin Thurston, I’m a first year Mechanical Engineer and my hometown is Fairfax, VA. What brings a southerner up here you may ask? I have always loved the state of Michigan. Both of my parents grew up downstate and just about every summer, my family would travel downstate to visit family. While searching for colleges with an engineering degree, I stumbled on Michigan Tech and thus, here I am.
