Article Submission
To submit an article to Cross Reference, submission through this website is preferred.
- First, you need to have created an account and be logged in.
- Then, you will see a "Create Content" item in the side menu -> Click the "Story" link.
- Fill out: suggested title, the section you feel your article should be in, the date of the next issue, and the actual content of the article (use "Paste from Word" feature when copy/pasting from Word).
- Click "Save". You may see the message "You are not allowed to unpublish nodes. Your node has been set to Draft." - don't worry about it.
- You are able to revise your submission until it is chosen to be published - it can be found through the "My Posts" menu item on the side.
Please ensure you have at least a draft submitted by 5pm of the Monday of publication weeks. Contact your section editor for special arrangements if you plan to submit your final article after 5pm Monday.
Please keep your article to around 300-600 words - some exceptions may be granted, but please stick to this limit if at all possible.
Also note that we reserve the right to revise or not publish any submitted content.
